How To Decorate Wine Bottle With Glitter
DIY Glittered Vino Bottles!!!
I have a DIY for Crawly all upwardly in here…
DIY GLITTERED WINE BOTTLES, yo!
Don't detest me because my glittered wine bottle is cute.
This craft was inspired right afterward I fabricated my glitter-filled insulated cold loving cup. I LITERALLY (not figuratively literally, simply literally LITERALLY) looked around my business firm, saw a vino bottle I had been waiting to chalkboard paint and said to my self, "Self. WHY CHALKBOARD PAINT WHEN We Can…. GLITTER!!!" And yes, when I talk to myself, I address u.s. every bit We.
Long story.
If y'all PIN this, you can pin information technology onto your EASY board. Your RECYCLE board. Your AWESOME board. Your Practice-ABLE DIY board. Your GETTIN' HIGH ON SPRAY Agglutinative lath. And of course your SPARKLY FOOL lath.
You can do this one of two ways, the EASY fashion:
- Mod Podge Hard Coat*
- Cream paint castor*
- This GLITTER* or this glitter that is me personal preference and offers a delicious mix of gold aaaaand silverish!
- And maybe some painters tape* to assist requite clean lines…
I gave each bottle a good coat of Modern Podge and so used i of my measuring cups to pour over my glitter mixture.
Or if y'all want to get hard and go long:
- A glossy, acrylic sealer*
- Fine grit sand paper
- An empty wine bottle (As THEY SHOULD BE)
- And… GLITTER*!!!
First… rub the canteen with sand newspaper. Give information technology a good scrub. Scratch that bad-boy up reeeeeal good. Requite that adhesive somethin' to hold on to.
Lay your sanded canteen on a covered surface.
Tip: considering that agglutinative is quite THE STUFF, I'd practice this in a well-ventilated area… similar Exterior.
No worries if it's common cold, this projection is FAST. Do your spraying outside, pop your index finger in the bottle, and bring information technology in to dry when done.
Lay your bottle downwards and spray with adhesive. Generously sprinkle glitter. Don't spray it all at one time… do it in parts.
Turn your bottle (gently) and repeat. Spray adhesive. Generously glitter. Spray adhesive. Generously glitter. Spray adhesive. Generously glitter. Lather. Rinse. Echo.
Once you've gone all the way around your bottle, look for thin spots, missed spots, or spots that brand you crazy. Spray adhesive… add together moaaaar glitter.
A spritz of adhesive here… a sprinkle of glitter there…
In one case your bottle is adequately glittered, circle her like a shark would a wounded seal, and give the bottle a fairly generous cover of spray adhesive.
This does not mean glitter won't come up off, but it actually helps. Just don't put the glittered bottle in your pocket, or conduct it under your arm, or employ it as a goal for flag football… and you should be fine.
Your very own glittered wine bottle, y'all!!!
NOW FOR THE FUN PART:
Go end off a bottle of wine, suspension out the spray adhesive, break out the sand newspaper, and BREAK OUT THE GLITTER.
The party'south at your house this evening!
